The Strata Collection explores the meeting point between design intention and the raw, expressive nature of clay. Each piece — from sculptural lamps to hand-built vessels and bowls — is crafted from five distinct clay bodies, layered and patterned using a nerikomi-inspired technique. Unlike traditional nerikomi, the geometry here is intentionally designed and controlled, creating rhythmic striations that mirror the shifting layers of the earth.

The forms are fluid yet straightforward, striking a balance between modern restraint and organic imperfection. Gritty textures, soft edges, and rustic silhouettes give each piece a sense of quiet motion and grounded beauty.
