Commissions

SEW Ceramics approaches clay the way a creative studio approaches design — through collaboration, exploration, and story.

Each project begins with a conversation: a mood, a space, a concept, or a “what if.” From there, I develop ideas that merge form and function — sculptural lamps, custom vessels, or textural installations that bring a tactile, handmade layer to an existing vision.

With a background in creative direction and brand storytelling, I love the exchange that happens when art meets intention. I treat every commission like a collaborative campaign — with sketches, prototypes, and feedback loops that turn raw material into something refined and resonant.

Whenever possible, I work with recycled clay, reclaimed parts, and sustainable processes — blending the old with the new to give each piece a sense of history and purpose.

Whether you’re an interior designer, art director, production designer, or brand team looking to bring depth and materiality to your project, SEW Ceramics offers a space to experiment and make something meaningful — together.

Let’s turn clay into concept.

How It Works

Discovery - We start with a conversation about your project, including its function, feel, and environment. Share sketches, mood boards, or material palettes.

Design & Development - Together, we explore form, scale, and surface. Clay bodies and finishes are tested to complement your interior’s light and tone.

Creation & Delivery - Each work is handcrafted, signed, and fired in our California studio. Completion timelines vary by complexity, but commissions typically take 6–10 weeks.
